Is it Shafer? No. But at half the price it was twice the value. This was a wildcard pick by the guy working the racks at Central Market in Southlake, TX. Fantastic, full body Syrah with a ton of blue fruit, coated in earth-toned cocoa powder. If you can find it, don't deprive yourself.
Dr. Thomas Albert
If I had another daughter I would namer her Syrah 2009. Just love this wine...
Dr. Sharon Ornstein
Incredible wines with an even more incredible vineyard location.
Nice big red with explosion of fruit.
Excellent dinner wine - similar to Stags Leap Artemis and great value.

Full bodied. Big wine!
Rich and savory, great with filet.
